MENUS
Our special event menus offer the same outstanding, innovative Alaskan fare enjoyed in our main restaurant—served in a private setting perfect for graduation celebrations and milestone gatherings. Choose from one of our exceptional three‑course plated dinners or impress your guests with a beautifully presented buffet designed to please every palate. Fresh ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible to highlight the best Alaska has to offer. Please inform your Event Manager of any allergies or dietary restrictions in advance so our culinary team can ensure an excellent dining experience for all guests. All food served in Room 49 must be prepared in a commercial kitchen licensed by the Health Department.
BEVERAGES
Simon & Seafort’s offers an extensive selection of draft beers, wines, and spirits to complement your graduation menu and personalize your celebration. Guests may also source their own wine, subject to a $20 corkage fee per bottle. Alcohol will not be served to minors, and management reserves the right to discontinue service at its discretion.
PARKING
Simon & Seafort’s provides two hours of validated parking in the Captain Cook garage, located between 4th and 5th, K and L Streets. Additional paid parking is available nearby, along with metered street parking, which is free on holidays, weekends, and after 6:00 p.m.
ROOM LAYOUT
The modern design and open floor plan of Room 49 allow for a variety of layouts to accommodate graduation celebrations, family gatherings, and other special events. Your Event Manager will help determine the best setup based on your guest count and event needs. You’re welcome to visit the space in advance to envision your celebration. Room 49 comfortably seats up to 65 guests and can host up to 125 guests for a standing reception.
AUDIO/VISUAL EQUIPMENT
Room 49 is equipped with a drop‑down screen, mounted projector, house sound system, WiFi, and a universal clicker—ideal for graduation slideshows, speeches, and video presentations. While most connector cords are provided, some devices require specialized adapters, so hosts are encouraged to test equipment prior to their event. Please contact your Event Manager to schedule testing or a site visit; our team is happy to assist throughout the planning process.
